Carlye Christianson’s career started as a civil trial lawyer. Specializing in civil litigation and dispute resolution required her to grasp complex topics quickly, interact with a broad spectrum of people and gain their trust, conduct in-depth research, see the various facets of a situation, and demonstrate authority.
Since closing the litigation practice in 2000, Carlye has applied her expertise and experience at organizations of all sizes. She served as Director of Operations at the United Way of San Diego County and after moving to the National Capital Area, Carlye was asked to become Vice President of Community Impact for United Way of the National Capital Area, responsible for managing relationships with and funding for more than 800 member agencies.
She is a member of the State Bar of California and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
She formed The Christianson Company so that she could share her expertise with a greater number and wider array of for profit and not for profit organizations. Over the last several years, she has delivered interim leadership, advisory, consulting, and training services to various organizations.
The organizations with which she works achieve higher levels of performance and quality, greater efficiency and cost effectiveness, lower risk, and stronger, more effective relationships. As a result, they are positioned to successfully carry out their missions.
